Franco Brown joined LPA in 2001 and has 18 years of experience as an architect both in the U.S. and abroad. For the last 12 years, he has specialized in the design and planning of educational projects.
As a design leader, Brown’s projects have been distinguished with more than 20 American Institute of Architects (AIA) design awards including SCUP and AIA-CAE recognition at a national level. His work on college buildings and campus master plans has also earned statewide acclaim at the California CCFC Design Awards Program.
Brown earned a Bachelor of Architecture and Master of Architecture degrees at the Universidad de Mendoza in Argentina; he also practiced design as an undergraduate student at the university’s renowned Instituto de Diseño Urbano. He is a licensed Architect in the state of California and Argentina.
Brown has lectured at the CCFC Annual Conference on Higher Education Design and Planning and is a regular guest speaker at local architecture schools.
