For more than three decades, Karen Thomas has been a leader in corporate headquarters facility design in Southern California. She is responsible for more than 50 million square feet of corporate office interior design, which represents construction costs in excess of $1.8 billion dollars.
Thomas has been with LPA for more than 24 years. During that time, she has expanded LPA’s interior design practice to become one of the‘Top 100 Interior Design Giants’ in the nation. She has worked with companies such as The Irvine Company, LBA Realty, Griffin Structures, Capital Group Companies,Blizzard Entertainment, Toyota Motor Sales Corporation, Bank of America and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), to name a few.
Thomas received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 1978, and a Bachelor of Science from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California in 1981; both of which she received with Honors. She attended the American University in Paris during the mid-1970s,is a Certified Interior Designer (CID) and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
