Park Place Retail was completed in the early 1990s and was not improved or repositioned until LBA Realty purchased the property in 2010. In a series of design meetings with the client, LPA identified a strategy for repositioning the center.

The existing vehicular circulation on site needed improvement. LPA turned the parking lot so that access to the parking areas was improved and more efficient for shoppers and tenants alike. With the change in vehicular circulation, added space was provided for continuous pedestrian flow in front of each storefront. The new walkways are accented by a row of palm trees, lighting, seating areas and enriched paving. The architecture uses a simple canvas of wood accents, metal canopies and a unified color scheme that creates a fresh backdrop for tenant signage and storefronts.

The center is a prime example of how to use existing assets and build on them to create a simple, updated and elegant solution that positions Park Place Retail for the future.
